Design Story

The composition is strictly vertical and strictly centred. A crossed-racket motif sits inside an arched navy cartouche, a single ball resting above the intersection like a keystone. Beneath it, a stepped city skyline and a framed banner carrying the artwork lettering. Fan motifs and fine gold rays radiate outward across the cream field, so the eye travels up the arch and settles on the type. It works because the palette is restrained to three tones: warm ivory for negative space, navy for weight, gold for hierarchy. Nothing competes.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler silhouette the design reads as a focal panel rather than a scattered wrap. The tapering vertical proportion exaggerates the arch, while the linework continues around the curve so there is no dead side. The handle side stays clean apart from a small navy accent, keeping the front the only statement. Carry presence is high but composed, more objet than novelty.
