Design Story

The focal panel is a shield holding the husky head \Uffffffff navy outline, white face, that steady forward stare that reads as calm confidence rather than snarl. Beneath it, the typography stacks in clean tiers: UCONN in heavy navy caps, HUSKIES flanked by red rules, then EST. 1881 and LIMITED EDITION in quiet small type. That descending hierarchy is what makes it work; your eye lands on the crest, drops through the wordmark, and settles. Around the base, navy chevrons sweep upward into a small basketball medallion, echoing uniform paneling and giving the lower third a job instead of leaving it blank.
