Design Story

The composition is built around a single focal medallion: the M-State mark seated inside a ringed silver frame, framed by small diamond markers on a vertical axis. Around it, fine fluted lines radiate outward like a sunburst, giving the surface visual rhythm without competing with the centre. The palette is disciplined \Uffffffff oxblood maroon against cool metallic accents \Uffffffff so tonal contrast does the work instead of colour volume. A clean MISSISSIPPI STATE wordmark anchors the lower third and closes the layout.

Use & Experience

On a tall tumbler silhouette the artwork reads correctly: the medallion sits at eye level as the front-facing anchor, the vertical fluting flatters the proportion, and the ribbed field wraps continuously so there is no dead side. Lower lettering balances the negative space near the base. Handle-side viewing stays quiet, keeping the statement level composed rather than loud.
