Design Story

The composition is built like a crest, not a poster. A banner reading ST. LOUIS CARDINALS anchors the upper third in black and gold, and directly beneath it sits the interlocking STL monogram on a deep red shield, outlined so cleanly it reads from across a room. Below that, crossed bats and a stitched baseball form a symmetrical base, framed by a ribbon marked EST. 1882. Gold scrollwork, small stars and jewel-toned accents fill the negative space without crowding the focal panel. The palette does the heavy lifting: crimson, black and warm gold, with white reserved almost entirely for the monogram, so your eye lands where it should every single time.

Use & Experience
