Design Story

The composition is built like a crest, not a poster. A gold shield with the prancing horse and the S F lettering sits dead centre as the focal panel, framed by thin gold pinstripes that angle outward like an armour plate. Above it, SCUDERIA FERRARI in spaced serif caps. Below, PASSIONE COMPETIZIONE ECCELLENZA stacked in small type, an Italian tricolour bar, and the F1 mark closing the column. Everything runs on one vertical axis, so the eye travels top to bottom without hesitation. The deep black ground does the heavy lifting: it makes the gold read like inlay rather than ink, and the single red stripe behind the shield adds just enough heat to keep the palette from going cold.

Use & Experience

On a tall tumbler silhouette the layout is a natural fit. The wraparound gives the crest a clean front-facing stage, the gold bands at the collar and base bracket the artwork like a frame, and the narrow vertical proportion keeps the type column legible from arm's length.
