Design Story

Above the emblem, a night skyline glows in warm amber windows against deep navy, with stadium light towers flaring at either side. Below it, a ballpark diamond opens toward the viewer, ringed by a packed crowd rendered in tiny blue strokes. A banner reads NEW YORK across the top; another carries EST. 1903 along the bottom. Two aged baseballs sit in the lower corners like seals on a document. The border does real work here: layered gold scrollwork and ornamental filigree wrap the field in an old-engraving style, turning a sports motif into something closer to a commemorative plate. The palette stays disciplined, navy and antique gold, which is why the composition reads as calm rather than loud.
