The eye lands on the face first: a pale, cracked mask with red eyes, framed by curved horns and held perfectly still at the centre of a dark circular disc. Nothing moves. That is exactly the point.

Design Story

The composition is built in layers. Thorned vines and drooping bell flowers curl through the left side, softened by a fine spun web. On the right, black feathers fan outward behind deep burgundy roses and clustered blossoms, with small hanging charms - a crescent moon, a pentacle, a slender cross - dangling like jewellery. Everything converges on a scrolled banner reading "WELCOME, IF YOU DARE" in raised, metallic-looking lettering. The carved-looking relief and the darkened border treatment follow the circle cleanly, keeping the crowded detail from ever feeling chaotic.

Display & Styling

As a round wood sign, the circular silhouette works in its favour. The central mask reads instantly from a distance, while the thorns, feathers and charms reward a closer look. Hung from its cord, it becomes a wall-mounted statement piece for an entry, a porch or a shadowed corner of a reading room - seasonal styling in October, quietly gothic year-round.
